This review will be a little short because I have better things to do there really isn’t much going on. Just a heads up.
Synopsis
After being devastated in the third World War (known as The Third Division), Japan was divided in two. Several years after the end of the war, a crime organization called Vischio has taken control of the destroyed city of Toshima (formerly Tokyo, Japan’s capital city), where they are holding a battle game known as Igura. The game’s main character, a young man named Akira, is falsely accused of a crime. Once arrested, a mysterious woman appears before him, offering him freedom if he agrees to participate in Igura and defeat Igura’s strongest man: the king, or Il-re. The story follows Akira’s life in the harsh, lawless Toshima as he fights both to survive and to unravel the mysteries developing around him. (AnimeSeason)
My Thoughts
I the beginning I actually found some type of interest in the show. The reason why I say that is becauseĀ just from a glance ( judging by animations, etc) that this show would be super average and would hold my attention for 4 episodes. But as time went on I stuck with it, for some strange reason. But there were several things wrong with it. First, the show only decided to show us information the moment it was needed, no foreshadowing and no guesswork. In other words, no room for suspense. I don’t know about you but I like suspense, a lot. Second, random stuff and people come out of nowhere .And third, as the show was moving towards the end I kept asking myself,” What’s the point?” And when this question arrives you know you’ve reach a dead-end. But after a couple of days thinking about it, I finally realized-It was one BIG service announcement. The whole entire point was to teach children NOT to do drugs (I agree). So now the Japanese entertainment industry has enough money to run a 12 episode animation just to teach kids a lesson. Wonderful…
The Good

The Bad
Basically everything except e beginning…
